We had a great time visiting from NJ, between me my dad and 2 young kids we caught about 20 fish in about 3 hours. Alex was a great captain and awesome with my kids !

It was a great day of fishing with a great crew. We were fishing within 5 minutes of leaving the dock which was great for the kids. We caught our limit of yellowtail within the 1st hour. We caught , tuna, mackerel and few sharks. We even had a visit from a friendly loggerhead turtle. My 13 year old and 11 year had a great day, and didn’t want our 6 hour trip to end. They even asked us what we wanted to fish for and tailored the trip based on what we were looking for. A big thank you to Captain Alex, Isaac and the entire team at Manicsportfishing! We will definitely use them again when traveling back to the keys!

We booked this trip very last minute, the evening before and we were confirmed for our afternoon fishing trip right away. We had an awesome day with Captain Shad! He was very helpful with our daughters and made sure we caught lots of fish! We had a little rain on the way but the boat has a nice inside area so we stayed dry. My husband Mark and I booked a private charter last week and had a blast. I highly recommend. Our Captain was Jim and he went above and beyond to make the most of our day. Chasing down schools even though they were few and far between that day. Landed us mahi, a big fat mutton snapper and lots of yellow tails. It was so much fun. His mate, Garrett was also excellent. Taught me some new things and had a great attitude. We will be back and we will see Jim and Garrett again. Can't wait. Thanks Manic, had a great time.

Captain Frank and his team were excellent! Frank spent time with us before we booked to understand exactly what our family of 4 (2 kids, 15 and 11) were looking for. He recommended the pontoon boat and a flexible schedule to allow for fishing and swimming. Casey was our Captain for our morning trip. She was super chill, very friendly and very knowledgeable. She got us on fish (mangrove snapper) right away and helped with all the boys fishing needs so mom and dad could relax. We were able to add an hour to our trip because the kids didn’t want to stop fishing but also wanted to snorkel. Once finished fishing we took a 20 minute boat ride to a snorkel / swim spot. We all went off the boat’s slide, snorkeled with provided gear, swam and enjoyed the water mat. Casey fillet our keepers at the dock and we got to feed the leftovers to the giant Tarpon fish. A definite highlight and great way to end the day! It was a great day! We’ll be back with the team when we return to Marathon!

This was the perfect trip for our family of four. Captain and mate kept our kids engaged while they found their sea legs and our lines baited the entire time. 3 hrs was just the right amount of time for our kids first time out on the open water. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I thank Shad and Arron for ensuring we had a great time and we caught the perfect amount of fish. Will definitely reach back out when we are here again.

Captain Shad and Skeet were on time and ready and did a good job of explaining. They were personably and easy to talk to which is important when being on a boat for 6 or 7 hours. They also were very helpful and patient with baiting our hooks and fixing any reels or poles if they had issues. Also, there was an accidental $200.00 charge that I did not notice or the owner until I got back to the house that we were staying in. I called the owner and he apologized and brought the $200.00 to the house we were staying at in about 30 minutes. It was the best customer service that I have ever experienced and I am 51 years old. Someone hand delivering a refund is unheard of.

Everyone we dealt with at manicsportfishing was awesome, we had 2 trips booked, the weather didn’t cooperate on our days we had booked but they made our fishing trips happen, everyone caught our targeted species and had a blast doing so, Captain Jim and mate Garrett were awesome and Frank made it all happen, thanks you guys, definitely a trip we will not forget

We had a great time fishing for barracuda and shark. The captain and mate knew where to take us to catch what we were looking for. Within a few minutes, we were catching barracudas one after another. We then moved on to fish for shark. After a few attempts we were able to land a nurse shark. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get out on the water for a few hours and catch some amazing fish.

This is the only way to go. As an out of state fisherman looking to get some time in on the water I was looking at renting a boat to get some fishing in while on vacation. I chose to charter with Manic instead of renting and what a great decision that turned out to be. With 6 of us we had some seasoned and inexperienced anglers so I picked the reef fishing and as soon as we dropped the anchor Capt Shad had fish at the boat. Even though it was not perfect conditions he made sure to work to keep us with action. He wanted to know what kind of day we were looking for and made sure we all enjoyed. The boat was a pleasure to be on, well maintained and clean. As a captain myself I can highly recommend taking a trip with Manic. It will be the only place we charter with in the future. I specifically want to thank Frank for the great communication with all the details of the trip & Capt Shad for everything.

Great captain & mate! We caught ALOT of snapper (26 yellowtail), and 2 small mahi which sadly had to go back. Of course, I would have loved a variety of fish to eat. Lol!! But was just happy to be catching fish. And overall it was a great day out in the water. Manic sportfishing is highly recommended.

We rented two pontoons with five family members on each. Captains Shad and Casey did a great job working in tandem to take us all on a fun fishing excursion followed by fun snorkel and swim.

I always wanted to catch some Mahi, and these guys made it happen. We knew it would be a tough day of fishing, but the guides worked their tails off to make it a successful trip. By the end of the morning we had reached our bag limit, and made some beautiful memories. This is an incredibly seasoned crew with a lifetime of experience on the water, who will do everything in their control to make your trip a success; Remember, Mother Nature has a mind of her own. This is a once in a lifetime experience in which I was fortunate enough to partake. I learned a ton, and I definitely plan on fishing with these guys in the future.

Had an amazing experience! First time we've been deep seas fishing and would 100% do it again. Captain and 1st mate were extremely knowledgeable and help us reel in 3 Mahi Mahi, that we took to a local restaurant (Lazy Days South) where they prepared it for us. We tipped handsomely because they deserve it.

10/10 will book again! We took my in laws, and our almost six year old on a reef and wreck 3/4 day trip and we had a BLAST. Saw so many cool fish and caught a good number of yellow tail snapper and other reef fish. (Which made for an amazing dinner!) My in laws had a bit of sea sickness, but Captain Chad and First Mate Todd were both very understanding, and helped get them feeling better. They were also very kind and patient with our almost 6 year old son, which is extremely important to us. He had a blast and even caught several yellow tail! I just wish we had taken more photos haha. We will be booking again, for sure!

It was tough not to be able to go out to the reef and wreck like we planned because of windy conditions. With that said our captain and mate did a great job getting us in fish quickly and the kids had plenty of action and fun. They were excellent. My only concern was the amenities advertised on the website for the boat we selected were all lacking or non-existent. The website over sold it a bit, so that was disappointing. Doesn't take away from the quality of the crew and making the best out of a disappointing weather situation.

The weather wasn't great, but Captain Shad and the crew did everything possible to find fish and make it a great experience for the kids. All of them were very professional, friendly, and attentive.

Amazing that all I can say

We rented a boat on Monday and had to reschedule for Wednesday and the owner was very accommodating. The crew made sure we had a top notch experience and worked very hard. We will use Manicsportfishing in the future.

Great charter, was the off season so didn’t get to much action. Caught our limit on black fin and got a barracuda on the boat as well with some skip jacks. Fun charter overall. Alex, the first mate was great and we all liked him. Will go out again with them for sure. Only downfall was driving around for 5 hours looking for fish. Would have preferred dropping on the bottom and catching whatever are the bait. We used 101 gallons of gas which game to a total of $535 dollars additional when we hit land.

My family and I were very excited about our 4 hour reef trip. We booked with Frank. He’s a heck of a guy. We all had a blast. Tons of action ! Looking forward to our next vacation with the crew at Manicsportfishing Charters in Marathon Florida!

The Captain and mate were great. Didn't hesitate to move when the yellow tail bite was small. Re-rigged and hit some wrecks to bring home a nice take of Vermillion Snapper. Good boat, clean and well maintained.

Shad and Cole were excellent! We took two trips with them and they were great. We caught snapper and mackerel and the guys cleaned them for us so we could bring home some nice filets. The seas were a little rough and Shad was great about checking us and making some modifications to our trip so we could really enjoy ourselves. Would definitely book again!

Absolutely fantastic fishing trip. Chad and Cole were exceptionally knowledgeable and gave us options for the different fish and fishing methods to target on the reefs. Had a variety of fish (porgy, yellow fin, mangrove, lane snapper) at the end of the day that were incredibly tasty. We went on an early half day fishing trip with Captain Mike! We loved every minute of it … if it puts it into perspective we have four young boys 11,8,5 and 3. We chose the party pontoon boat so we spent the first half of the trip fishing which we caught a decent amount of snapper and 8 keepers! Enough to feed our bellies. Plenty of other species fish to see and catch too! After that we went to the “swimming hole” and spent the rest of our trip sliding off the boats slide into the water and floating around on the huge raft that’s provided. I would most definitely book again! Thanks captain Mike for such an awesome experience on the water and at the dock feeding the tarpons. We will surely be back!

Today my family went out for a 4 hour reef fishing charter. This was a gift for my son’s 18th birthday and high school graduation. We were very pleased! 2 of us knew next to nothing about fishing. Matt and Captain Quinn were extremely patient and helpful. Caught many mangrove and yellow tail snapper. Very pleased with this charter service. HIGHLY recommend!
